In December 2015, The New York based sightseeing operator chose TransMach to provide in all in one integrated solution for issuing smartcards as tickets by the street agents and validating the smartcards on the bus. In spite of very tight schedule, the system went live on time. The system gave them full control over the revenue collection and reconciliation along with APIs for third party booking agents.

The move has given JJ Kavanagh full control over revenue collection and reconciliation on and off bus.

After the successful roll out and running of the on street CASIO ticketing system, the Original Tour chose TransMach for the on bus ticket system. The on bus system feeds the information into the same back office which gives the customer access to data from one place. Also with the introduction of the CASIO machines on board, the drivers can now validate internet bookings which is very handy for the passengers and less load at busy on street points.

The user can see the closest stops to their current location and once the departure and destination stops is selected, the app shows the estimated arrival time of the coach which means the customer can plan the journey.

After long consultation, The Original Tour of London, one of the worlds largest sightseeing operator chose TransMach to provide on street ticketing solution with web based back office. The web based back office system will provide full control over price, discount level, points, cash collection and reconciliation and reporting. The on street operators will use CASIO IT 9000 machines to issue cash tours, scan web tickets with instant validation. The system is designed so that each location has different discount levels to maximize selling opportunities. The system is also integrated with third party agents via API developed by us. The system allows the drivers to view a list of pre-booked tickets for a specific journey and it also helps them manage passenger load.

  • Automatic GPS bus stop update at Dublin Coach. CASIO machines now update fare stages automatically using GPS co-ordinates. This means drivers don’t have to change stages on the machines manually and also prevent any manual mistakes. The CASIO IT-9000 has built-in GPS module and it works out the current stop itself using preconfigured stop GPS co-ordinates. The GPS data will be used to provide real time information to passengers on Mobile App and on web site in the future.

  • Dublin Coach goes live with CASIO ticketing system

    Ticketing specialist, TransMach Systems has installed it’s CASIO all-in-one ticket system at Dublin Coach and provided full training on the web based back-office system and portable ticket machines.

    The machine enables drivers to validate return and E-Tickets tickets by scanning barcodes. The driver can also accept card payments and smart cards. All ticket machines are connected to the web server using 3G/Wi-Fi.

    The web based reporting software enables office staff to monitor and analyse journey performance, passenger loading and revenue information in real time. The administrator can perform fares changes instantly using the intuitive web based fares management tool.

    November 19, 2012 - Parkeon, the leading ticketing technology company, has appointed Harrow-based TransMach Systems as its distribution partner serving independent bus operators.

    The agreement covers the whole of the UK and is designed to ensure that smaller operators receive dedicated support for the installation and operation of the company's sophisticated on-vehicle systems.

  • Casio Appoints TransMach Systems as a Key Technology Partner for Ticketing Solutions

    CASIO Computer Co. Ltd., announced today that it has appointed TransMach Systems as a key technology partner for bus, tram and coach ticketing. Working with CASIO, TransMach will introduce the CASIO IT-9000 as the advanced ticketing and payment solution to the transport operators.

    The IT-9000 is an all-in-one handheld printer terminal equipped with a built-in thermal printer and near field communication (NFC) reader/writer designed for contactless smart cards and radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags. Options include a C-MOS Imager for scanning 1D and 2D symbologies, a magnetic card reader, 3G wireless WAN capable of high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA), GPS capabilities, and a colour auto-focus digital camera.
